Every price on this page is a fixed package price, and the number on your quote is the number on the invoice. Packages cover a standard shoot day — one location in and around Tokyo, with the interviews listed in the package. When a project asks for more, we scope it with you and agree the number before the shoot is booked.
We plan, film, edit, and translate under one roof, so your budget goes into the film itself. For the same deliverable, agency quotes often land between US$10,000 and US$20,000 — the work passes through a fixer, a crew, an interpreter, and a translation agency, and each layer adds its margin. Take those layers away, and what's left is the pricing you see below.

Each additional customer story: US$3,800 instead of US$5,000 — booked together, or ordered within three months of the previous shoot, while we still hold the project files. After three months the planning starts over and the next story is US$5,000 again. Filmed on a day of its own, finished as its own video.

What's in the package, and what we price together
Most shoots fit the packages as they are. When yours asks for more, you'll see the number before the shoot is booked — worked out with you, at the same time as everything else.
A standard shoot day
- One location in and around Tokyo, indoors, with power available
- Up to eight hours on site — half that for the half-day package
- A room that can be kept quiet — an office, a meeting room, a showroom
- The interviews listed in your package
- Access to the location arranged on your side, or your customer's
- Everything after the shoot: edit, subtitles, transcript, revisions
Priced with you, before we start
- A second location, or filming outside Greater Tokyo
- More interviews than the package covers
- A shoot day that runs beyond eight hours
- Finding and booking the people who appear on camera
- Places that need permits or a formal application — factories, stations, public space
- Filming outdoors for a long stretch, or anywhere that needs special access — a factory floor, height, a clean room
- Extra subtitle languages, vertical cuts beyond the ones in the Customer story package, broadcast music licensing
- Approval rounds beyond the two included — the extra legal and compliance checks that pharma and finance teams often need
Payment terms
Set up for overseas teams from day one: 50% deposit to confirm the shoot date, balance net 30. Invoiced in USD and settled by bank transfer. We complete your vendor onboarding and provide a W-8BEN — everything fits the process your finance team already runs. If PayPal is the only route open to your team, we can invoice through it with the PayPal transaction fee added.
The fine print
- Transcript delivered within 48 hours = two business days of the shoot; multi-interview days delivered on a rolling basis.
- A revision round = one consolidated set of feedback. Structural changes after paper-edit approval are quoted separately. For regulated industries (pharma, finance), timelines and revision terms are agreed per project.
- Travel outside Greater Tokyo is quoted as actual costs plus a flat travel-day fee.
- First video delivered within 10 business days of the shoot; additional videos on a rolling basis.
- Project files archived for 90 days after delivery; longer archiving available as an add-on.
